Hypnobirthing 5-week Series with Metro Hypnobirth

  • MINKA 1120 Washington Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11225 United States (map)

Looking for ways to have a calm, peaceful, gentle natural birth? Join Bilen and Chrysti of Metro HypnoBirth for our Fall class series at MINKA. HypnoBirthing®, the Mongan Method, is a complete childbirth education series taught in a format of five 2.5 hour classes over five weeks. You will develop an understanding the bio-physiology of pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. You and your birthing partner will learn methods of rapid relaxation, fear release, visualization, affirmation, self-hypnosis and different breathing techniques to increase your comfort and confidence. You learn about many ways to help you stay focused on the birth you want, through physical comfort and emotional coping techniques. We create an intimate experiential learning environment, where everyone feels welcome! The opportunity to dive deep into the materials, daily practices and building community with other expecting people is truly invaluable.

Here are a few words from participants:

"We LOVED it. The content was great! I particularly liked that you had us watch those labor videos because I would have never had the guts to do it. I have always been into hypnosis, and I really think it works and is a perfect tool for labor. Thank you!! Changed our entire perspective--basically, thank goodness we found you guys. It was also just so nice to meet all the other couples. The whole thing was just really quite a pleasure and to be honest, I am sad it's over!" MaryLynne & Dan

"The class was great! Bilen and Chrysti created an open, fun, and welcoming environment for our class of 5 couples. They have a commanding knowledge of all things HypnoBirthing and their depth of experience shines through in each and every class. Classes FLEW by. Both my husband and I feel prepared, calm, and armed with information and tools. The class was empowering and really helped us feel confident about having conversations with our caregiver and visualizing our birth day." Camilla & Mike

“My wife and I have taken almost every parenting related class we can find and fit in as part of becoming new parents. So grateful for our neighbors recommending HypnoBirthing and that we found this particular workshop led by Chrysti and Bilen! They were amazing and the experience of the workshop was truly transformative. Looking forward to our Birthing day with calm and excitement and to applying what we learned long past our Birthing day.” - Sarah & Angela
